The Challenge
An existing customer operating in the construction industry identified an opportunity to reduce ongoing operational costs by changing how they sourced fuel. Instead of purchasing pallets, they sought to purchase four bespoke 2,500 litre static bundled fuel stores.
However, a bespoke build time required by the supplier and significant upfront costs put pressure on cashflow and supplier payment requirements.
The Solution
Business Development Director, Jake O’Byrne, secured and arranged a hire purchase facility of £31k through staged payments over 36 months.
This meant that the customer did not have to provide a large upfront payment and the supplier could begin the build with a smaller initial deposit.
The Result
The facility was secured within 24 hours, allowing the customer to efficiently reduce their operational costs by transitioning away from pallet purchasing.
This helped to deliver a long-term financial benefit for the customer as they no longer had to continue to pay for additional pallet costs.
