The Lancashire Golf Associations Junior Team Trophy is on Friday 27th July 2018. At Hesketh Golf Club, Cockle Dick’s Lane, Southport, PR9 9QQ.

This event is an inaugural event aimed at promoting the best junior golf in Lancashire. SDGA Executive Secretary, Keith Hick said.
“As the host Association to this inaugural event at Hesketh GC, Southport & District Golf Association is thrilled to support such an important day in the life of junior golf throughout Lancashire. Tommy Fleetwood, 2017 European Number One and currently ranked eleventh in the world golf rankings, together with his European Tour colleagues Lee Slattery and Matthew Baldwin, have each proved how far a fledgling youngster can go.
During the current decade, West Lancashire’s Hollie Muse also set the game alight as a teenager. With a rapid career rise through the junior game to full women’s international honours. Each initially came through the SDGA proving ground to place their golf clubs, Southport and the surrounding area, together with Lancashire, firmly in the news. SDGA celebrates its golden jubilee during 2018/2019 and continues to help nurture and develop junior golfers to maximise their potential, make lifelong friends along the way and, most importantly, enjoy all a lifetime playing golf has to offer.”
The Lancashire Golf Association members are:
Bolton, Bury, East Lancashire, Fylde, North Lancashire, South Lancashire and Southport & District.
Before hand, each Association will nominate 6 players to represent their Association. Obviously players will be 18 years of age and under on the 1st January 2018.
