The Challenge
We were recently approached by an existing customer off the back of an email marketing campaign. The business, an aesthetics clinic, required funding for refurbishment, including new flooring, signage, decoration and new beauty stations with mirrors, beds, lighting and storage.
Due to the nature of the business, the customer sometimes experienced quieter periods and therefore didn’t want to worry about having to pay fixed monthly payments.
The Solution
Abbie Bailey, Business Development Manager, discussed the option of a merchant cash advance with the customer as most of their revenue was generated by card sales. This allowed repayments to be taken as a percentage of the customer’s card sales.
This provided more flexibility for the business during quieter periods but also allowed them to pay the advance quicker in busier periods.
The Result
PMD were able to secure a £80,000 merchant cash advance facility that was approved, signed and paid out within 48 hours. Our customer was therefore able to instruct contractors immediately.
The refurbishment was started during the customer’s quieter season to ensure minimal disruption to their clients.
